# Your own domain

Connect your own domain / subdomain to your onWhatsApp Store

Let us guide you on how to connect your own domain / subdomain to your onWhatsApp Store

Navigate to the Settings tab in your dashboard and scroll down till you see this 👇🏼

* In the section that says "Domain to be linked to your store"
* Key in either a root domain, for example **abc.com** or a subdomain like **shop.abc.com**\
  **Note:** do **NOT** put http or https here
* Next, you login to your domain registrar, like GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare etc and create an **A** record pointing it to the IP -> **13.213.165.175**
* Wait for the domain records to flush, usually takes a couple of minutes to an hour. At the longest, it should not take more than 24 hours.
